Yurva’s History
Back in December of 2007, Nancy Naigles and Nathan Ciara sat down at a Friendly’s Restaurant to discuss where their lives were going to go. They decided it was time to get out of the rat race and start their own company. With no directions, they brainstormed a list of all the businesses they thought would give them the life they always aspired to. the list was vast, covering industries like health and fitness, wellness, engineering, accounting, consulting and the list went on. It seemed that their dream would never be reached because the laundry list of their daily tasks interfered with the incredible time dedication that is needed to get a business off the ground. At this point it was obvious what the next step was. Nathan and Nancy had to help people get the little things done so they could focus on the more important things in life. This business would give people access to what Nancy and Nathan never had but saw a need for.
Yurva started out as Your Yang. The focus was on helping individuals bring more balance to their lives. Your Yang was a concierge/personal assistant service. Due to both the state of the economy and continued market research, it was clear that a business geared strictly towards disposable income and extravagant spending was not the right path for the company. This created an opportunity for Yurva to be born, a company focused on helping small to medium sized business owners and entrepreneurs grow their business in such a difficult time. Yurva (Yur – Virtual – Assistant) began to pave the way for US based virtual assistant services.
